Charley Sharkey

Associate Therapist, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

At 17, Charley had her first experience with therapy. She was struggling with social- phobia and a childhood diagnosis of what we know call ADHD. She experienced first-hand the teasing and singling out that are perpetuated by the stigma of mental illness.

Charley feels incredibly honoured to share in other peoples’ success stories with therapy after having one of her own. A former socially anxious, neurodivergent youth, turned MACP candidate and therapy intern!

Charley truly believes that the unique and "tailored to her" approach that her therapist brought to their sessions was an essential factor to her success in therapy. This is why Charley takes a holistic and individualized approach to her work with clients. Collaboration and creativity between therapist and client is key to the success of therapy.
