Simone Frattini

Simone began her professional journey working in medicine and immediately found her niche in psychology. She transitioned into a mental health practice to help support people grow their strengths to create a happier and more fulfilled life.

Simone believes in applying evidence- based techniques based on individual needs. She approaches every client as unique and individual, assessing their strengths and needs accordingly. Simone is passionate about human beings, believing that we all need a safe space where we can reflect in order to understand ourselves better and build the skills we need to improve our lives.
Get to know Simone (She/ Her)
Simone was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She adopted Canada as her new home in 2018. She began her formal education in psychology, earning a Bachelor in Psychology from Gama Filho University in 2004. She continued her education earning her M.D. in Medicine from the Estacio de sa University Medical School in 2014.
A true life long learner Simone completed a Masters in Leadership from McGill University in 2020. She ran a private practice in Brazil for many years in addition to working as a public health advisor for the government. She also served for 7 years in the Brazilian Army as a psychologist, focusing on suicide prevention campaigns along the Amazon Forest.
When moving to Canada, Simone transitioned to working with youth at Homewood Health. She joins our team with a wealth of knowledge and personal experience.
Simone is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#11277).
Simone is able to provide therapy service in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Simone is currently accepting new clients who are looking to work individually (youth and adult).
