Days & Evenings

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when life already feels overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to even consider this step. My hope is to offer a space where you can slow down, take a breath, and talk about what’s been weighing on you at your own pace.

I focus on supporting people who feel stuck, stressed, or disconnected from themselves, especially at times when life feels unclear or heavy. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings, understand patterns that show up in your daily life, and find practical ways to bring more balance and meaning into your life.

As a South Asian immigrant, I understand how culture, family, and identity shape the way we move through our world. These layers matter and I aim to honour them in our work together. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process. You set the pace, and I’m here to support you as you build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

Sujaiya’s Credentials & Training

Get to Know Sujaiya

As a South Asian immigrant, Sujaiya grew up learning how to hold onto her cultural roots while also finding her place in a new culture. This experience shaped how she understands belonging and identity as well as deepened her appreciation for a community where people feel welcomed.

Outside of therapy, Sujaiya enjoys exploring new food spots with friends and family, especially small local vendors. She’s a big fan of true crime documentaries, escape rooms, and anything that brings a bit of excitement. She also loves karaoke nights and playing board games with friends. Sujaiya believes that laughter and playfulness can exist alongside deep and meaningful work, and she brings this energy into every space she holds.

What to Expect in Your First Session

In the first session, Sujaiya focuses on creating a supportive space where you can slow down and begin sharing your story at your own pace. Together, you will walk through your experiences and begin understanding how they fit into the larger picture of your life.

The goal is getting to know you, what you’ve been through, what matters to you, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. This is a space where you can pause, take a breath, and feel supported as you begin to make sense of your experiences together.

I am not sure if I am ready.

What do I do?

The success of therapy is all about the fit between client(s) and therapist. We recommend you start with a free 20-minute connection call, where you can meet one or more of our therapists by video to talk about your needs and preferences. Your therapist will help explain the process and can answer any questions you may have.
