Have you ever felt caught between who you are and who you’ve been told you need to be just to feel accepted? Maybe you’ve learned to silence parts of yourself - your identity, your emotions, your voice - because full expression never felt safe. You might notice it in your body: the tightness in your chest when you’re asked to shrink, the heaviness that settles in when
you’re trying to keep the peace, the quiet ache of feeling unseen in spaces where you hoped to be welcome.
I am passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ folks, women, neurodivergent people, and anyone else carrying the layered impacts of relational, developmental, or spiritual trauma. In our work together, we slow down enough to meet the parts of you that are overwhelmed or running on empty from these experiences. I also bring a feminist and decolonial lens, holding space for the systems and histories that have shaped your experiences so you don’t have to carry that context alone.
My approach in therapy is warm, compassionate, and relational. I’m less interested in “fixing” you, and more committed to supporting you in reconnecting to the wholeness of who you are but haven’t been allowed to experience. Together, we can begin untangling what’s yours from what isn’t, allowing you to build a relationship with yourself and others in a way that feels more connected and liberating.

Taylor’s Credentials & Training
Get to Know Taylor
Born and raised in the St. Louis area, Taylor grew up with a deep fascination for stories of all kinds - whether they be in movies, music, books, or the voice of someone nearby. Growing up in the U.S., she became attuned early on to how family, faith, culture, and larger systems shape our sense of self, belonging, and possibility. As her world expanded in her move to Toronto in 2022, this awareness deepened into becoming a foundational piece of her work as a therapist, community organizer, and human.
These interests carry into Taylor’s life outside of the therapy room, as she loves spending time creating and doing anything artistic, whether that be painting, baking up a new recipe she’s been working on, or fiddling with one of many half-finished projects. She values spending time with her partner and friends, making trips back home whenever she can, and staying connected to practices that support her in feeling grounded, connected, and curious.

What to Expect in Your First Session
Taylor believes the heart of therapy is the relationship you build together. For this reason, a first session with Taylor is rooted in getting to know each other, while building a sense of comfort, so that we can begin to establish the foundations of what makes you, you.
She also trusts the wisdom you already carry, even if it feels buried or impossible to access. Together, you’ll begin to explore what’s helped you get here, what hasn’t, and what you want to create from our time together. The goal isn’t to have everything figured out in the first session; it’s about connecting with where you are now and beginning to make sense of what you desire.
